Certified Organic & Bio-dynamic Produce
How Do You Know It's Organic or Bio-dynamic? To be completely sure that your food is organic or bio-dynamic, make sure it's "Certified". Certified growers are inspected at least annually by independent certifying organisations that inspect against a set of standards.
Certified food has two main levels:
Certified Organic or Bio-dynamic: Producers of Certified Organic and Bio-dynamic products have been monitored by their certifying organisation for three years or more and have satisfied the certifying organisation that they are growing to their organic standards.
Certified In Conversion: Similar to Certified Organic and Bio-dynamic except that the grower has been monitored for only one year or more, or has not yet achieved the dynamic ecosystem required for Certified Organic and Bio-dynamic status.
When purchasing a certified organic or bio-dynamic product, look for the certifying body logo, to be completely sure it really is organic or bio-dynamic.
